Ukraine is a land on which many historical events have taken place over the centuries, and most of them, without exaggeration, have influenced the course of civilization as a whole. Every small historical city, especially in the Western Region, is a separate page of the Chronicle of Ukraine. their great historical, architectural and cultural heritage [1], as well as favorable natural and climatic resources are significant prerequisites for the development of historical and cultural tourism. This type of educational activity today is a successful source of patriotic feelings for the younger generation. However, only legislators deal with this issue in Ukraine [4] and are purely from the formal side (because of the declaration of the necessity and usefulness of youth tourism, but without a real psychological and pedagogical justification for its expediency). Therefore, the definition of historical and cultural tourism in small cities of Ukraine through the prism of its impact on the formation of spirituality of Ukrainian youth is extremely relevant.
